About Us

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Farm Science Centre), Latur is a District level, an innovative science based agricultural institution, established by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi at Manjara Charitable Trust, Latur. It is working mainly to test, demonstrate and transfer the agricultural technology on the farmer’s field. The Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Latur lies in Deccan Plateau zone of Maharashtra. The aim of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra is to reduce technology gap and build capacity of the farmers by integrating agricultural technologies to increase production and productivity. To achieve this goal four mandates have been envisaged. Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Farm Science Centre), Latur is a District level, an innovative science based agricultural institution, established by ICAR, New Delhi.

President’s Message

Since its establishment in 2005, Manjara Charitable Trust’s Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Latur has been dedicated to empowering farmers through scientific agriculture, skill development, and technology dissemination. Our mission is to bridge the gap between agricultural research and farmers’ fields by promoting innovative, sustainable, and climate-resilient farming practices.

MCTs-KVK, Latur has continuously worked towards enhancing farmers’ income and livelihood through frontline demonstrations, capacity building programmes, natural farming initiatives, integrated crop management, value addition, entrepreneurship development, and digital agriculture interventions.
