President’s Message

Since its establishment in 2005, Manjara Charitable Trust’s Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Latur has been dedicated to empowering farmers through scientific agriculture, skill development, and technology dissemination. Our mission is to bridge the gap between agricultural research and farmers’ fields by promoting innovative, sustainable, and climate-resilient farming practices.

MCTs-KVK, Latur has continuously worked towards enhancing farmers’ income and livelihood through frontline demonstrations, capacity building programmes, natural farming initiatives, integrated crop management, value addition, entrepreneurship development, and digital agriculture interventions.

The Centre has played a pivotal role in introducing location-specific technologies and farmer-centric innovations that address the challenges of modern agriculture.
We firmly believe that scientific knowledge, coupled with farmers’ experience and innovation, is the key to achieving agricultural prosperity.

Our dedicated team of scientists remains committed to serving the farming community through need-based research, advisory services, and skill-oriented training programmes.

I extend my sincere appreciation to ICAR, SAUs, government departments, stakeholders, and progressive farmers for their continuous support and cooperation. Let us work together to build a prosperous, sustainable, and self-reliant agricultural future for the farmers of Latur, Marathwada and beyond.

Shri Diliprao Dagdojirao Deshmukh
